The Race for Hope
The Race for Hope is a Grace tradition! This 5K, which benefits brain cancer research, is a fantastic spring event and one that the Grace community has participated in for the last 15 years as members of the Super Drew Nealley Team, led by Drew’s parents and his classmates and his friends from Grace.
Our team’s namesake and guiding spirit was an energetic seven year-old who died far too young from a brain tumor in 2006. Drew loved attending Grace, where he developed strong bonds with classmates, teachers, and administrators, many of whom continue to participate in the Race. Over fifteen years, current and past Gryphons have helped raise over $250,000 in small donations. This year, we are inviting folks to once again don their Drew Nealley Team t-shirts and hats and hit the trail to raise funds to support invaluable brain cancer research.

On May 2, 2021 the day of the virtual Race for Hope, Grace will host a get-together on the soccer field for anyone who has registered for the Super Drew Nealley Team or any team at the Official Race for Hope website. We’ll meet at 10:30 am and walk a 5K together (masked and safely distanced of course) and return to the soccer field.
Please register here to support this cause and be part of the Super Drew Nealley Team!
