Student life refers to all of the extracurricular aspects of the student experience that open students up to new relationships, new avenues of self-expression, and new places to explore. Students who take advantage of these opportunities stretch their athletic and leadership abilities and expand their range of interests.
Students in grades 3-5 can participate in our running clubs. In the fall, we offer Girls on the Run and Let Me Run, each group participating in a 5K to conclude the season. In the spring, all students in grades 3-5 can join the Drew Nealley Runner's Club and participate in the Race for Hope in memory of former Grace student, Drew Nealley. During both seasons, the runners practice two afternoons a week at Grace. Grace staff members coach alongside parent volunteers, and they run, too!
Little Dribblers, a basketball program at Grace for students in Kindergarten to Grade 2. Little Dribblers practice two afternoons a week during the month of May, focusing on the fundamentals of passing, shooting, and dribbling and the rules of the game. This program is in its inaugural season and off to a great start!
Students in Grades 4 and 5 can participate in our competitive athletics program, which features five teams playing four sports over three seasons:
- Co-ed Soccer (Fall)
- Co-ed Kickball (Fall and Spring)
- Boys Basketball (Winter)
- Girls Basketball (Winter)
- Co-ed Track and Field (Spring)
Interscholastic Sports have been paused at Grace due to the pandemic. Check back for more information on the return of team sports in the Fall of 2023.
