Preparing for 2020-2021: State of the School and Transition Meetings
Our Transition Meetings are a chance for parents to see what’s next for their child as they “move up,” and hear from teachers about the classroom their child will be joining in 2020-2021.
This year, we have made a few changes to our format in order to offer parents a more convenient and engaging experience. Families are invited to join us in the library for coffee and refreshments starting at 8:30 am, while Head of School Jen Danish gives a brief presentation about the State of the School. At 9:00 am, parents will proceed to next year’s classroom to spend some time there.
We will offer two separate sessions depending on your child’s current grade. Please RSVP if you are able to join us:
-
Current Kindergarten through Grade 4 parents should plan to attend on Monday, February 3 from 8:30-9:45 am. From 8:30-9:00 am in the library, you’ll have refreshments and hear the State of the School presentation. From 9:00-9:45 am, you’ll spend time in next year’s classroom with current students and teachers, followed by time for a teacher Q&A. RSVP HERE (current K-Gr. 4 parents)
-
Current Preschool and Prekindergarten parents should plan to attend on Tuesday, February 4 from 8:30-9:45 am. From 8:30-9:00 am in the library, you’ll have refreshments and hear the State of the School presentation. From 9:00-9:45 am, you’ll spend time in next year’s classroom with teachers, followed by time for a teacher Q&A. RSVP HERE (current PS-Prek parents)

If current Grade 5 parents are interested in hearing the State of the School presentation, they may attend either the Feb. 3 or Feb. 4 session from 8:30-9:00 am in the library.
Come hear about the wonderful things that await your child in the next year of their time at Grace!
