The bluegills are here!
The Bluegills are here! Each year, Grace partners with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources to raise bluegill fish in the classroom. Bluegills are a small native fish that can be found in ponds, streams, and Chesapeake Bay tributaries throughout Maryland. There presence is vital to the health of the water habitats. In the spring, we will release the fish into their natural habitats -- and they will be much bigger than these babies!
