Grade 3 Animation on Kindness

Thanks to our students in Grade 3 for a wonderful assembly last Friday, where they shared the work they’ve been doing in learning about compassion and the concept of kindness. They presented their vision story and shared with the Grace community how they are implementing the concept of kindness in the classroom. A highlight was the stop-motion video that the class created in our SCIL (Makerspace) Lab all about “Passing It On,” inspired by one of the books they read about kindness.

Students have been writing their own random acts of kindness on strips of paper and using these to create a chain of kindness. They hope that the kindness chain will spill out of our classroom into the school.
