Grace featured in NAEBE Article: “A Joyful Environment Built Through Caring Relationships”

Grace was honored to be chosen as a site for in-depth study by the National Alliance for Engagement-Based Education (NAEBE), a project of the Center for Inspired Teaching and Astra Center for Innovative Education. This new partnership aims to “ensure that engagement-based and student-directed education becomes the widely accepted norm in classrooms across the country, in service of the ultimate goal of preparing students for the 21st century and beyond. In a world of heightened uncertainty and rapid technological advances, Inspired Teaching and Astra jointly recognize the urgency of ensuring that schools across the United States authentically engage students in their education and enable them to direct their own learning.”

Our visit from NAEBE was scheduled for a day on which snow and ice made for a difficult commute, but the cold definitely didn’t affect the warm and welcoming environment that Grace is known for. Click here to read the article from NAEBE.

A huge thank you once again to the NAEBE project leaders for featuring our wonderful community — especially our furry mayor, Coniglio!
