Children’s Book Author Erica Perl Visits Grace

Grace has the privilege of hosting our first author-in-residence Erica Perl. Jen Danish and Erica attended grade school and high school together in Burlington, VT. Author of many children’s books including Goatilocks and the Three Bears and The Great Louweezie, Ms. Perl writes, “My author visits are energetic, educational, engaging, and just plain fun. This may be because I have a theater background, a law degree, and an ice cream truck driver’s license!”
Each classroom teacher has  chosen one of Ms. Perl’s books and collaborated with her so she can lead writing and creative process workshops geared to each age group. Please join us for  Assembly on April 3 when our students will share what they created. All Grace students will receive a copy of the book their class reads to bring home and share. We are very excited to have a real live author in our midst, and we hope all children will be inspired by our time with her.
