Colleen’s Run: 9:00 am

Please join us on Saturday, October 9th at 9am at Grace for the ninth annual Colleen’s BA 5K to benefit the Colleen Mitchel Memorial Fund. The Fund was established in memory of Colleen Mitchel, who was born with biliary atresia (BA) in 1993, had a liver transplant at 7 months old, and died in 2013 from liver disease after waiting almost four years on the liver transplant list. Colleen graduated from Grace in 2005, Walter Johnson High School in 2011 and attended the University of Michigan.

Thanks to the Colleen Mitchel Memorial Fund and the annual BA 5K, $200,000 has been donated to support organ donation awareness in the DC area and ground-breaking research at the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Liver Center.
