“Campfire” performance by Cello Fury: May 13, 2:00 pm

Everyone is welcome to join us for this very special school-wide Campfire on Friday, May 18. Cello Fury is a rarity in the music world: three classically trained cellists and a rock drummer performing high-energy original music that fuses together classical and rock genres. Cellists Simon Cummings, Cecilia Caughmanc, and Nicole Myers, along with drummer Dave Throckmorton, engage students of all ages with their interactive program exploring the connection between the worlds of classical and rock music. Combining original compositions with classical pieces and cover songs, Cello Fury challenges students to examine the similarities and differences between musical styles, and encourages them to pursue their own musical experiences.
