PTO Book Fair and Dine-Out
The PTO will host its annual book drive at Politics and Prose and dine-out at Comet Ping Pong on Saturday, January 25. Our goal is to collect as many books for our classrooms and library as possible. Faculty and staff have created wish lists of new books that will inspire wonder and nurture our children’s love of literature.
Politics and Prose generously gives 20% of book sales back to Grace when families tell the cashier they are participating in the book drive. Comet Ping Pong gives 15% to Grace when families write “Grace” or “Grace Episcopal Day School” on their checks.
We also collect books for our partner organization, the Homeless Children’s Playtime Project. HCPP is an organization which provides a safe, structured play space for children and teens in emergency shelter and transitional housing spaces throughout Washington, DC. The Playtime Project offers not only space and plenty of books to read but can answer “yes!” when a child asks to take home a book.
Please join the Grace PTO in supporting your school and its mission to serve others.
