🌿✨ We’re celebrating Kindergarten teacher Ginger B 🌿✨ We’re celebrating Kindergarten teacher Ginger Brooker, who was selected to participate in the Growing Together Cohort, a special professional development experience focused on nature play and nature-based learning for young children.

This week, Ginger is spending time at the National Zoo, Smithsonian Gardens, and the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (pictured), exploring new ways to bring the natural world into children’s learning—both outdoors and inside the classroom. We can’t wait to see how Ginger brings her new ideas back to Grace 🌱

Congratulations, Ginger! We’re so proud of you! 💚

🎧✨ Celebrating creativity, research, and imaginati 🎧✨ Celebrating creativity, research, and imagination

We’re so proud to share that our incredible art teacher and atelierista has been featured on a podcast exploring the role of imagination, beauty, and inquiry in education 💙

In this conversation, you’ll hear reflections on the power of art, the importance of curiosity, and how thoughtful teaching can open doors for students to see and shape the world in new ways.

🍅🌿 Garden to table—camp style! This week our Grow 🍅🌿 Garden to table—camp style!

This week our Growing Gryphons campers harvested fresh tomatoes and cilantro from the garden… which could only mean one thing—salsa time!

And what goes perfectly with homemade salsa? Tortillas, of course! Good thing our campers already knew just what to do 💪

From garden beds to the kitchen, it all came together for a fresh (and very tasty) summer snack 😋

🌽 A week full of Growing Gryphons fun! Our camper 🌽 A week full of Growing Gryphons fun!

Our campers are doing it all—exploring the woods, harvesting corn from the garden, and getting creative by using corn husks as paintbrushes 🎨

They also turned their curiosity into action in the kitchen, researching and making their own snacks… popcorn and tortillas for the win! 🍿

And after a day full of exploring, creating, cooking, and tasting—some well-earned rest was definitely in order.

Just another joyful (and busy!) week at Grace 💚
