Warm & Fuzzy Week is officially underway at Grace Warm & Fuzzy Week is officially underway at Grace 🤍

We kicked things off yesterday with a cozy favorite—hot chocolate for every student—because sometimes the smallest moments create the biggest smiles.

Warm & Fuzzy Week is all about sparking joy, kindness, and connection across our community. From fuzzy pajamas and beloved stuffies, to therapy dogs and movement-filled campfire fun, this week invites our students to slow down, care for one another, and lean into that “warm and fuzzy” feeling—also known as kama muta.

These moments of comfort and belonging matter. They help create a school where children feel safe, seen, and ready to learn.

Here’s to a week full of warmth, kindness, and everyday Grace.

My One Word for 2026 ✨ As we kicked off the new y My One Word for 2026 ✨

As we kicked off the new year, our Grade 5 students took a meaningful pause. Instead of traditional New Year’s resolutions, we explored a different idea—choosing one word to help guide intentions, actions, and growth throughout the year.

After reading One Word for Kids by Jon Gordon and Jimmy Page, students reflected on big questions:
What do I want to learn?
Where do I want to go?
What do I want to try?
What do I hope to achieve in 2026?

From that reflection, each student selected a word—some inspired by a shared list, others drawn from their own hearts and hopes. These words now live on a bulletin board outside the classroom, serving as daily reminders of purpose, possibility, and direction—not just for our fifth graders, but for everyone who passes by.

One word. Many paths. A year guided with intention.
