💧 A gift that keeps giving. A big thank you to the 💧 A gift that keeps giving. A big thank you to the Grace Class of 2021 for their thoughtful class gift of two water bottle filling stations. Because of their generosity, our community has saved nearly 90,000 plastic bottles — a powerful reminder of how small actions can create lasting impact.

We are so grateful to this class for leaving a legacy of care for our school and our planet. 🌎

What started as an exploration quickly became a de What started as an exploration quickly became a deeper question for our PreK students:
“How do you know how to find the bridge in the woods?”

As children shared their discoveries, they began forming theories about direction, landmarks, and memory. On return visits, they photographed meaningful places—the entrance sign, the bridge, a tree with a hole, and even the stick tents they discovered along the way.

Back in the atelier, students revisited their experiences using many forms of expression—drawings, photographs, and collaborative mapmaking. As they shared their maps, common landmarks began to emerge and conversations deepened about what makes a place important to remember.

Little by little, the woods became more than a destination. It became a living classroom for curiosity, connection, and discovery. 🌲✨

Our Kindergarten artists are being featured in Voi Our Kindergarten artists are being featured in Voices, an international early childhood art exhibition in Chicago hosted by the Chicago Arts Partnership in Education and presented by the National Art Education Association’s Early Childhood Art Educators Interest Group.

This special exhibit celebrates the creative thinking of young children ages 2–6, bringing together work from early childhood programs across the country and beyond. We are so proud that the artistic explorations of our youngest Gryphons are part of this inspiring collection.

Congratulations to our young artists and to the teachers who nurture their curiosity and imagination every day!

In our early childhood classrooms, the work of chi In our early childhood classrooms, the work of childhood is happening everywhere you look. A puzzle carefully solved, scissors and glue transforming ideas into something new, towers rising from blocks, and paint bringing imagination to life.

These moments may seem simple, but they are where important foundations are built—focus, creativity, persistence, and confidence. Through hands-on exploration, our youngest Gryphons are discovering how to think, create, and problem-solve together.

At Grace, learning begins with wonder—and grows through joyful challenge, one small moment at a time.
