State of the School and Teacher Meet-ups

We hope you’ll join us in the library immediately after arrival on Thursday, February 5 at 8:45 a.m. for our annual State of the School presentation. This 30-minute session will focus on how our programs at Grace are intentionally designed to meet students where they are, support their growth year by year, and prepare them confidently for their next steps beyond Grade 5. We’ll look at how our academic structure, our instructional practices, and our social-emotional program work together to serve children ages 2 through 11 in developmentally responsive and research-backed ways. We will also share a progress update on Grace Rising, our Strategic Plan (see bottom of page), including successes from this year and a preview of what’s ahead as we continue strengthening the Grace experience for every child.

After the presentation, we invite you to stay for a special Meet & Greet with your child’s future teacher(s). Families will break into three groups: rising Prekindergarten, Kindergarten–Grade 2, Grades 3–5. This time is designed to help you learn more about the year ahead, ask questions, and connect with the educators who will be guiding your children next year. Slide decks outlining next year’s curriculum will be emailed in advance so you can review them beforehand and come ready with anything you’d like to discuss. We’ll wrap up by 10:00 a.m., allowing you to continue with your day while our teachers return to their classes.
