Supporting Every Learner:
As student needs grow, so does our commitment to meeting them with care and expertise.
- Expanded Learning Support: We’ve deepened our investment in student services with the addition of a full-time Director of Learning Support, on-campus speech and occupational therapy through trusted providers, and academic tutoring partnerships. In some cases, we’ve also supported students attending Grace with aides—ensuring access to learning that’s personalized and inclusive.
- Community Tuition at Work: Approximately 60% of Grace families receive Community Tuition, a reflection of our unwavering commitment to inclusion and affordability. Your gifts help make this possible—ensuring Grace remains a place where every child who belongs here can be here.
- Investing in Our Educators: Continued professional growth is at the heart of excellent teaching. Since 2023, donor support made it possible for faculty and staff to engage in transformative learning experiences—including immersive study in Reggio Emilia, Italy, participation in the Washington International School’s Summer Institute for Teachers (WISSIT) grounded in Harvard’s Project Zero, and involvement with the K12 Change Lab. These experiences fuel innovation in our classrooms and strengthen Grace’s student-centered approach.
A Campus that Reflects Our Values:
We believe children learn best in environments that are safe, beautiful, and built with intention. Since 2020, donor support helped transform and preserve our beloved campus:
- A Reimagined Library: Bright, flexible, and welcoming—our updated library is now a hub for student discovery and family connection, made possible by a generous gift.
- Campus Preservation Projects: A resealed roof, upgraded HVAC systems, and replaced boilers ensure our historic building is protected and our learning spaces remain clean and comfortable.
- Outdoor Improvements: New fencing, repaved play areas, and a refreshed exterior create safer and more vibrant spaces for play and learning.
- Interior Enhancements: Fresh paint, new carpeting, and interactive displays celebrate student creativity and keep our spaces warm, bright, and inspiring.
- A New Playground—Coming Fall 2025: Our first new playground in more than 20 years, from KOMPAN, is on its way—designed for joyful movement, inclusive play, and a future full of fun.
