Michelle Artz

Michelle’s son Owen, graduated from Grace in 2021, and her connection to the Grace Board of Governors began with her role as a PTO representative. She was honored to become a Board member after Owen’s graduation, and subsequently to be elected chair in 2023.

Professionally, Michelle has over 30 years of experience in government affairs, alliance development, and grassroots engagement, including nearly 14 years at the American Nurses Association where she led the Government Affairs department. Michelle also spent several years working in Alliance Development at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), supporting the organization’s policy and advocacy efforts by fostering communication, relationships, and coalition building with the healthcare provider community.

Currently, Michelle works to help clients achieve their policy and advocacy goals as Vice President with the Federal Group.

Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Media and Public Affairs from The George Washington University, and an undergraduate degree in Professional Writing with a minor in Political Science from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA.
